"Her muse is the mundane" is a statement previously attributed
to Debra's paintings. In fact, Debra does choose to paint seemingly ordinary objects - a cup of coffee, bottles of fine wine
or a tube of lipstick. But her bold use of color and sense of composition make her work dramatic and fresh. Debra's unordinary
treatment of these objects enable one to discover interest, drama and often humor in the everyday and frequently overlooked.
